.occasional light snow over central and north-central wisconsin early this evening will expand east and gradually become heavier and more persistent overnight. The snow will probably be falling quite heavily by the wednesday morning commute. The snow will begin to shift southeast of the area wednesday afternoon, but will probably linger long enough to impact the afternoon commute in east-central wisconsin. Although it will not be exceptionally windy, there will probably be enough wind to cause some blowing and drifting of the snow in east-central wisconsin wednesday afternoon and evening.
